How long does migration take?

Four business days from export to live. We handle the mapping of your chart of accounts, lease data validation, and GL reconciliation while your team continues operations. Your Yardi, AppFolio, or Buildium data arrives Friday; you're live the following Wednesday.

Is my data safe during the move?

Yes. We maintain SOC 2 Type II compliance and encrypt all data in transit and at rest. Your export file never touches a public server. We work in an isolated environment, validate every transaction, and keep an audit log of every action taken during migration.

What if we have custom GL structures?

We map them. Our onboarding team reviews your chart of accounts line by line and rebuilds it in Valix. If you use cost centers, profit centers, or multi-level hierarchies, we preserve them. No flattening, no loss of detail.

Can we run both systems in parallel?

Absolutely. Many operators run a two-week parallel period to validate that Valix produces the same trial balance and financial statements as their legacy system. We provide reconciliation reports daily.
